Love Hunters / Warm Up
The famous Novi Sad band ‘Love Hunters’ will perform in Novi Sad on 12 January, within the ‘Warm Up’ festival in public spaces. We can expect Mumin’s concert at 5 p.m., on the Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard, in the passage near the ‘Bulevar Books’ bookstore and DDOR.
Milan Mumin, frontman of ‘Love Hunters’, left a significant mark on the (sub)culture of Novi Sad.
Shuttling between Novi Sad and New York, Mumin is considered to be the so-called ambassador of Novi Sad culture.
In addition to numerous performances with his band, studio, video and live albums, Mumin has already produced theatre music, such ‘Miss Julie’ by Strindberg, as well as the film about musician’s New York days called ‘Love Hunter’, which was presented by the famous ‘Times’ magazine.
On 12 January, the ‘Warm Up’ concerts will take place at several locations across the city. Local artists and bands will thus announce the beginning of the title year, which officially begins with the programme in the Serbian National Theatre on 13 January, with the great event outdoors, and concerts at dozens of locations across the city.
The idea is to present Novi Sad through music on 12 January, and in that manner, warm up the citizens of Novi Sad and its guests for the upcoming events.
In addition to Love Hunters, bands UV, Dragon’s Fuel, Šinobusi, Zbogom Brus Li, Stefan i akustični gadovi, Killo Killo Banda, Klo Klo, Atheist Rap, Plavi ptičić, Gift and Josip A Lisac, will perform within the ‘Warm Up’ festival.
