Makers of Magic – A Discussion with Participants

The discussions with participants of the ‘Makers of Magic’ project will be held at Radionica facility, location 6, in the District, on 4 September.

The ‘Makers of Magic’ project deals with the invisible people behind the scenes. It was launched with the aim to record and preserve the crafts, skills and people who are the body of the theatre but are never in front of the audience. In the first edition, the ‘Makers of Magic’ represents a series of short video interviews recorded in different theatres in Serbia, in working spaces of people with whom dramatists like to work the most.

During the first part, ‘Makers of the Magic’ were Dragan Stevanović Bagzi – designer and sound technician, head of the sound department at ‘Atelje 212’, Ljiljana Mijailović – women’s costume seamstress, Dragan Marjanović – men’s costume tailor, Radica Komazec – dressmaker, Blagovesta Vasileva – production designer and puppet designer, Mirjana Milošević – shoemaker, Dušan Jovanović – sound technician and head of the sound department at the Serbian National Theatre and Ivan Kiš – sculptor in Kombinat workshops of the Serbian National Theatre.
