Milica Vučković / Migration of Souls — Novi Sad through Literature

Writer Milica Vučković is coming to the contemporary pavilion of literature ‘Migration of Souls – Novi Sad through Literature’ in the Master Hall of the Novi Sad Fair on 5 March at 7 p.m. Maja Solar will host the programme. After the official programme, the author will sign her books at the Zenit publishing house booth.

Milica Vučković was born in 1989 in Belgrade. She graduated in painting at the Faculty of Applied Arts, where she is attending doctorate studies. She published her first book, a collection of short stories Roj, in 2014, and for Jedu ljudi i bez nogu, she won the first prize in the competition for the short story ‘Biber’ in 2017. She published her first novel Boldvin in 2018, which was included in the two shortlist for the literary awards ‘Vital’ and ‘Biljana Jovanović’. She writes both prose and poetry, her poems have been published in several literary magazines such as Fantom slobode, Rukopisi, Povelja, Sent.

The exhibition Migration of Souls – Novi Sad through Literature’  celebrates the book as a civilizational and cultural object through strong visual narratives and interventions. During the exhibition ‘Migration of Souls — Novi Sad through Literature’ in the Master Hall of the Novi Sad Fair, we will host contemporary regional writers such as  Rumena BužarovskaMiljenko JergovićDamir KarakašKristian Novak  and Darko Cvijetić.

Partner of the Migration of Souls programme is the Novi Sad Fair, and the companies Globos osiguranje and Dijamant DOO also provide support.
