Novi Sad Comics Weekend / 28 October
On Friday, 28 October, at 4 p.m., the doors of Farbika are opening, starting the stock exchange of comics, books, and vinyl records, within the Novi Sad Comics Weekend and Comic Book City.
Milivoj Kostić will present his 3D comics at 5 p.m. and from 5.30 p.m., ‘Stripovedač’ podcast about comic books by the authors Dušan Majkić and Petar Klaić will be presented.
A conversation about Saša Jovanović’s exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina will begin at 6 p.m. At 6.30 p.m., a new publication of SCCNS dedicated to the work of Damir Pavić Septic will be presented.
At 7 p.m. Zoran Nikolić will present the Nifest Festival, as well as the new edition of ‘Nićifor’, by the author Zoran Kovačević.
At 7.30. ‘Life After Death’ by Danilo Milošev Wostok, published by Student Cultural Centre, will be presented.
At 8.30 p.m., the authors Sanja Stepanović and Jakov Klemenčič will present their work. The first day’s programme closes with a musical set by Dee Jay Minya Ramone and DJ Dirty at 9 p.m.
The traditional Novi Sad Comics Weekend will be held on 28 and 29 October in the renovated space of SCCNS Fabrika, within the Other? Europe programme arch. It includes a comic book exchange, exhibitions, presentations of local and regional authors and publishing houses, as well as other comic book festivals. This year, the Novi Sad Comics Weekend will present the exhibition ‘The Diary of Max von Fafner’. The exhibition will be opened on 25 October at 8 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina. The display will be available until 17 November 2022. Admission is free of charge.
