Opening / Getting Familiar With Cultural Heritage Using All Senses
Let’s learn about cultural heritage using all our senses within the Other? Europe programme arch. The exhibition ‘Getting Familiar With Cultural Heritage Using All Senses’ will be held on 10 October. The exhibition will feature the works of art from the collection of the School for Primary and Secondary Education ‘Milan Petrović’.
Violeta Strahinjević, school director, and Snežana Nikolić, project team, will speak at the opening.
The orchestra “Dobri ljudi” will perform.
The ‘Getting Familiar With Cultural Heritage Using All Senses’ programme is aiming at further development of inclusive art and culture, sensitization, primarily of the younger audience, for the concept of ‘art for all’.
The exhibition will be equipped with adaptations for people with sensory difficulties, as well as assistive technologies needed to make the exhibits equally accessible to people with and without disabilities.
It includes works of art in the form of sculptures, objects, installations, photographs, videos, digital animations, sound installations, etc.
The aim of the project is to support the development of inclusive politics and culture, as well as to expand and create a circle of new audiences for contemporary art through alternative channels of communication.
Accompanying activities will include projections of video works, an expert panel discussion and musical performances on assistive musical instruments.
