Opera Carmen

The four-act opera Carmen will be performed on April 8 at 7 p.m. in the Serbian National Theater.

Whoever heard the opera Carmen at least once could never forget the Habanera, the arias of Don José, Escamillo, the energetic choral and musical sections… passionate, full of charm, Carmen is rightly said to be the opera of operas.

The libretto was written by Henri Mejak and Lidovik Alevi, based on the novel of the same name by Prosper Mérimée
