The gala concert of the Opera of the Serbian National Theater will open the Novosadsko muzičko leto festival on June 20, starting at 9 p.m. in the yard of OTP Bank (Trg slobode 5, entrance across from the parking lot at SNP).

The Opera Ensemble of the Serbian National Theater, as throughout its rich history, still has exceptional soloists, singers and instrumentalists today. The Opera Choir of the Serbian National Theater is known for its high artistic qualities and has always been rated as one of the best opera choirs in the country, while the Opera Orchestra has so far performed over 200 operas and 100 ballet premieres and about 60 operettas and musicals and performed independently during the series successful Opera tours in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany, Russia, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and China. Both ensembles are holders of significant international awards. The Opera of the Srpski National Theater has three conductors and twenty-two outstanding soloists, eleven of whom we will hear at the gala concert, under the baton of one of the best Serbian conductors, maestro Bojan Suđić.

Tickets for the concert will be on sale from Monday, June 3 at Music Youth in Novi Sad (Katolička porta 2), weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as two hours before the start of the concert at the venue.
