DAY#3: (ECOLOGY, EDUCATION, ECONOMY, AESTHETICS) 4E / (Non)Working Hours – Tuning the Sustainable Community
Workshop ‘DAY#3: (ECOLOGY, EDUCATION, ECONOMY, AESTHETICS) 4E’ will be organised on 28 July between 5 and 7 p.m. at the pavilion on the Štrand as part of the project ‘(Non)Working Hours – Tuning the Sustainable Community’.
Through a one-week open workshop, visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with all segments of the procedure of processing plastic waste, that is directly collected on Štrand, into finished designed products.
This includes collection, selection by type, preparation for crushing, shredding, pressing, extrusion with the help of a cast, etc. but also a series of discussions dedicated to a completely new approach to work, art, technology, sociability, and design.
The finale of this one-week adventure will be rounded off with an impro-concert that will combine sounds of machines, instruments made of waste, and voices.
As part of the project, all citizens will have the opportunity to participate in workshops at the pavilion on Štrand from 2 to 7 p.m.:
