Suze Su OK Play
The play Suze Su OK, the most beautiful local melodrama and a story about poetry, tenderness, rudeness, poets and longing, which leaves no one indifferent, will be performed in the large hall of the NIS building on 19 April at 8 p.m. TICKETS.
Suze su OK is the story of a woman who won’t say what every woman longs for – ‘if I can’t be a poet, God, let me at least be poetry.’ It is the story of Marija Kalić, a retired Radio Belgrade choir singer, who adores poetry and poets and who tries to do the impossible and realize her life’s dream related to poetry. Torn between the memories of an old and successful poet and the hope that he will get what she deserves – with a young poet from whom she expects a lot, Marija Kalajić tells us an universal story – about love, longing, disenchantment, and the silent dream of leaving a trace.
