The Ant and the Grasshopper / Europe XXL

The ‘Visoko C’ Association of Artists presented Aesop’s fable ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper‘ in a slightly different way through a children’s opera, with interactive involvement of the children to think about the values and characters of the appearing characters, and apart from the cricket and the ant, there also appears a forest fairy. The work is conceived for children up to 11 years of age and will run in the Bukovac Cultural Station on 9 May.

Within the Europe XXL programme featuring as many as five operas for children as part of the Future of Europe project, the ‘Visoko C’ Association of Artists brings the youngest to the world of opera, aspiring to introduce children and youth into the social and cultural flows of the city.
