The Books of Knjige / Booktown
The well-known Montenegrin team of comedians ‘The Books of Knjige’, famous for their improvisation and satirical depiction of social situations in the region, will be guests on the Main stage at SPENS on 17 September at 9 p.m., as part of the Kaleidoscope of Culture programme.
Aleksandar Radunović Popaj was born in 1971 in Cetinje. He graduated from the Cetinje Faculty of Dramatic Arts, in the Department of Dramaturgy. He completed his master’s studies at Belgrade Cetinje Faculty of Dramatic Arts. He is a member of the comedy group ‘The Books of Knjige’ and the music band Perper. He is a lecturer at Cetinje Faculty of Dramatic Arts as well as the screenwriter of the feature film ‘The Books of Knjige: Cases of Justice’ and other TBOK TV projects, and the writer of dramatic texts ‘Butterfly’, ‘Investigation’, and ‘Night’.
Zoran Marković Zonjo was born in 1974 in Cetinje. He graduated from the Cetinje Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Department of Film and TV Directing. He is a member of the comedy group ‘The Books of Knjige’. He’s the director of the feature film ‘The Books of Knjige: Cases of Justice’ and other TBOK TV projects, and the screenwriter and director of several short documentaries and animated films, as well as music videos for Letu Štuke, Who See, Zabranjeno Pušenje, and other artists.
