‘Apollo5’ is part of the Voces8 Foundation, the non-profit centre for vocal music, that brings the power of singing to communities around the world. Working alongside vocal ensemble Voces8 and Paul Smith the programme reaches 40,000 young people annually in the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia. The Foundation has its home at the Voces8 Centre, at St. Anne and St. Agnes churches. In partnership with the Diocese of London, the Foundation has established a hub for excellence in education, outreach and the performance of vocal music.

Last season Apollo5 launched the first Centre Season, ‘Re:Sound’, while this season, the Foundation launched an exciting new online Festival, ‘Live From London’, which brings live performances from some of the top professional vocal ensembles to audiences around the world.

‘Apollo5’ holds regular workshops, masterclasses, and a children’s concert series at the Foundation’s Centre, as well as long-term projects and residency programmes. The group monitors an extensive singing project in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, which includes working with schools and supporting teachers. Today, after five years, this project is supported by Arts Council England and other relevant institutions. The education programme is also supported by the City of London.

‘Apollo5’ has released albums with Voces8 Records, including their last album ‘Where All Roses Go, released in 2021. Their 2019 album ‘O Radiant Dawn’ reached the top 10 of the UK classical charts.
