Calendar of Events

The calendar of events contains detailed information about all the events that take place in the city and its surroundings in the year in which Novi Sad proudly bears the title of the European Capital of Culture.

Select the view (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or tile), then the date, and check out all the events on the programme for the selected period. Click on the event you are interested in to find out more about the programme itself, participants, timetables, tickets, and partners. You can search for events by location and different categories – programme arch or type of event (exhibition, film, workshop, children’s programme, etc.), as well as by keywords.

Admission to a significant number of events is free, while the most important events, premieres, and exhibitions in the calendar are specially marked so that you do not miss them.

Events in Novi Sad – Top recommendations

During the European Capital of Culture title year, the programmes take place in all cultural institutions in Novi Sad and its surroundings, in the network of cultural stations (Svilara, Egység, Mlin, Liman, Barka, Rumenka, Bukovac, Karavan), as well as in public spaces such as squares, parks, on the river, Petrovaradin Fortress, Fruška Gora and the like. The programmes are diverse and are intended for the widest audience, including children – exhibitions, concerts of classical and popular music, plays, musicals, performances, film screenings, workshops, spoken programmes that include panels, discussions, lectures and promotions, and more. There are at least ten various events on the programme almost daily, and sometimes even more than that.

In 2022, Novi Sad will present itself as the European Capital of Culture with more than 1,500 cultural events including over 4,000 local, national, and international artists from over 45 countries.
