Guided Tour of the Exhibition ‘The Partisan and Fragonard. Collection of Jovanka Broz’ by the author will be held on 20 May at 8 p.m., at the Gallery of Matica Srpska.

The authors of the exhibition, Ana Panić from the Museum of Yugoslavia, and Nikola Ivanović from the Gallery of Matica Srpska will present a story about works of art and objects that were in the villa of Jovanka Broz to the public. Some of the questions that will be addressed are what this ambience could have meant to Jovanka personally, and how we can understand and read the space of a memory. Through the dialogue, the artistic life in Yugoslavia, and the position of the former first lady within the Yugoslav culture and society will be presented.
