Female Authors Film Festival
The ‘Female Authors Film Festival’ will be held in the cinema hall of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina from 6 to 8 June at 6:30 p.m. You will have a chance to see professional student films of various genres and formats that are entirely or in certain segments created by women.
We will also be able to see the Novi Sad premiere of the officially best European film ‘Quo Vadis, Aida?’ in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina on Friday, 10 June at 7:30 p.m.

The film won three awards from the European Film Academy: the award for the best European film, the award for the best female director – Jasmila Žbanić, and the award for the best female actor, Jasna Đuričić from Novi Sad. The film also won several international awards and was nominated for the Academy Award in the category for the best film in a foreign language as a candidate of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The film duration is 1h and 41 min. After the film, you will have a chance to participate in the discussion with artists.
The ‘Female Authors Film Festival’ will be part of the ‘Autonomous Festival of Women’ (AFŽ), which takes part within the ‘Heroines’ programme arch.
