Frontline Vibers / Flags of the Future

Fontline Vibers will perform during the second day of the Flags of the Future festival, where we will listen to Nu Jazz bands and DJs, who will present this innovative direction to the Novi Sad audience. The festival will be held оn Stage 4, in the Creative District on 29 April as part of the Flags of the Future programme unit. It’s about merging musical styles (hip-hop, acid 1azz, jazztronica, deep house and broken beat) that together result in NU Jazz. Non-standardization of movements, absence of rules, intuitive movements are what characterize this innovative music genre.

The audience will be introduced to the Abase band led by Szabolcs Bognar – Hungarian producer and multi-instrumentalist, and Tommaso Garofalo known as Turbojazz. Frontline Vibers will be led by Zsolt Argyelán.

The band was founded in 2019 by friends and colleagues from the jazz department of the Prince Claus Conservatorie in Groningen (The Netherlands), led by Zsolt Argyelán.

Together, they discover the harmonies of sound by combining groove, nu-jazz vibration and electronic music. Some of the band members have collaborated during studies in Budapest back in 2011 and at gigs across Romania for the past few years. Listening to the wave vibrations and resonances of other dimensions and worlds, wandering through their own consciousness, they synchronized on the universal astral panel in which everything known ceases to exist, and everything impossible becomes possible.
With a specific combination of different acid/future jazz frequencies and repetitive or colourful rhythms, the members of the band revealed the secret of how to activate that astral portal that launches them and their audience into a transcendental and lucid state of mind and body with consequent catharsis.
Band members are:

Hiske Oosterwijk, vocal (The Netherlands), Albert Nagy-Örs, saxofon, MC (Romania), Domen Bohte, bass (Slovenia), Károly Enyed, keyboards (Romania-The Netherlands), Frankie Ercsei, drums (Hungary-The Netherlands), Zsolt Argyelán, trumpet, DJ (Serbia-The Netherlands).

The ‘Flags of the Future’ programme is sponsored by: IDEA, DDOR, and A1 Srbija.
