Interview with the Artist Jelena Vladušić, PhD / Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection
The conversation with the artist Jelena Vladušić, PhD, will be organised on 29 June at 7 p.m. during the exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’.
The multimedia exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’ will be set up during the Heroines programme arch, from 20 May to 15 July in the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection.
A special series of works by Jelena Vladušić ‘SMB teritorija’ deals with war issues, which is why Vera Kopicl in her work ‘Skrivena svetlost / Tragovi feminizma u dokumentarnoj i umetničkoj fotografiji’ (Hidden Light / Traces of Feminism in Documentary and Artistic Photography) makes a connection between her and Nadežda Petrović, the first Serbian photographer, who also captured scenes during the Second Balkan War. Vera Kopicl will talk with Jelena Vladušić, photographer and assistant professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, about her artistic poetics, connection with the history of photography, as well as the connections between art and pedagogical work. Special emphasis will be put on the recognition of women’s writing within the work of Jelena Vladušić, as well as on the theme of war in women’s culture.

Wednesday – Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Thursday: 1 – 9 p.m.
Admission is free.
