Performance and Game: Migration of Queen Lenka – Serbia to Finland

Performance and Game: ‘Migration of Queen Lenka – Serbia to Finland’ will be organised at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina on 8 June at 9 p.m.

Artist and activist Biljana Stanković spent four days travelling by land and water, using seven means of transport from Novi Sad to Joensuu, with her bitch Lenka. Wanting to share the details of this complicated move with the world, Biljana created a game that will be set up and available to everyone at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina from 7 to 12 June.

The game follows the path of the artist and her Lenka, and it introduces you to a special excitement with a lot of details. The performance was previously performed at the North Karelian Museum in Finland, as part of the ‘Lost Mitten and Other Stories’ project.

We will experience this game as part of the ‘Autonomous Festival of Women’, which is taking place during the Heroines programme arch this year.

Erste Bank is the partner of the Heroines programme arch.
