Seven Ravens / Novi Sad Theatre Festival

The ‘Seven Ravens’ play will be held at the Youth Theatre on 12 May within the Future of Europe programme arch.
The ‘Seven Ravens’ is a puppet show based on a traditional Central European fairy tale. When we were preparing the script, we were inspired by the Slovak, Polish and Austrian versions, but mostly by the Czech (Božena Němcová) and German (Brothers Grimm). The story is about how one word can be such a powerful tool. Bogdanka, the main heroine of our story, has to be silent for a long time in order to break the evil curse. This story leads to the idea of exploring the sounds of various objects and musical instruments, which can very often replace spoken language.
Director: Jakub Maksymov
Cast: Aleksandra Spasojević, Đorđe Janković, Duško Mazalica, Saša Terzić, Aleksandar Blanić, Slobodan Pešić, Rade Kostić and Dragan Vučić.

The play is intended for children over six years.
