The Magical World of Milica Zorić – Children’s Workshop / Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection

The children’s workshop ‘The Magical World of Milica Zorić’ will be held on 18 June at 11 a.m. during the exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’.

The multimedia exhibition ‘Heroines of the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection’ will be on display during the Heroines programme arch between 20 May and 15 July in the Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection.

Milica Zorić often in her tapestries used motifs of real and imaginary beings (lizards, dragons, falconers, heroes from folk tales), with which she created her fantastic, magical world of art. The first task in the workshop will be for children to find motifs of fantastic creatures and characters on her tapestries. Then, through a conversation with the curator and with the help of children’s imagination, they will attempt to describe the roles the artist assigned them, in order to ‘bring life’ to new characters as eventual templates for the future tapestries.

Memorial Collection work hours:
Wednesday – Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Thursday: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
