Youth Singer-Songwriter Festival 2022
The Association of Guitarists of Vojvodina in partnership with the LAB Cultural Centre organizes the ‘Youth Singer-Songwriter Festival 2022’, which includes workshops with mentors, as well as for fans of techno sound and producers, while after the workshops there will be a competition and public performance.
As part of the festival, the concert of the finalists, on 7 April will be held at the LAB Cultural Centre. Afterwards, on 8 April, musician and writer Marko Šelić Marchelo with his band will hold a concert at Dom Kulture at 10 p.m.
As part of the Youth Singer-Songwriter Festival, which will be implemented as part of the Future of Europe programme arch, fans of techno sound will be able to apply for workshops of DJing (masterclass), under the mentorship of Vladimir Aćić. The workshops will be held from 2 to 5 April at the Tunnel Club, while 1 April is reserved for a lecture on DJing and production by Miloš Martinov-Lag. After the workshops, three selected participants will have a public performance with Vladimir Aćić on 8 April at KC LAB.
During the four-day workshops at the LAB Cultural Centre, young singer-songwriters between the ages of 16 and 26 who have applied for this year’s festival will have a chance to work with mentors and prepare for the competition and public performance. Candidates in the competition are evaluated by an expert jury, consisting of: Ivana Vukomirović (Iva Manivi), Marko Šelić-Marchelo, Vedran Ferizović (JAL). According to the jury, the award for the best participants is the recording of a song in the professional studio ‘DO-RE-MI’.
