YusYus / Flags of the Future

The performance of the audiovisual duo YusYus is scheduled for 30 April at 10 p.m. in the Creative District on the Stage 4, as part of the Flags of the Future programme unit.

YusYus is an audiovisual duo founded by Nemanja Stojanović (Neomodern) and Aleksandra Pavlović out of their shared love for minimal synth music. The duo has been active in concerts since 2013 and very quickly won over audiences with performances in Serbia and Europe, playing at concerts in Brussels, Amsterdam, Madrid, Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb, Belgrade, and the Exit Festival.

So far, they have performed side by side with Molčat Doma, Soft Metals, Xeno & Oaklander, Die Selektion, Peine Perdue, and Ron Morelli, which confirms their quality and epithet they carry as mom and dad of modern minimal synth from the former Yugoslavia.

‘Kitsch-Nitsch’ design duo from Ljubljana and photographer Filip Rađenović oversee the visual aspect of their performances.

They are currently working on their new album that will be produced by Sam Perry from the band Dog Power; the album will be in physical form as a record, and the label that’s releasing the album will be announced soon.

You can see details on other programmes, jazz concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and performances, which will be held in the Creative District on 30 April as part of the three-day programme ‘Flags of the Future, on this link

‘Flags of the Future’ programme is supported by IDEA, DDOR and A1 Srbija.
