Zombie Walk / Film Front
The first Novi Sad ‘Zombie Walk’ will be held in the District as part of the Comic Book City programme on Sunday, 30 October, starting at 6 p.m.
An event of global dimensions, which falls on Halloween, is finally coming in Novi Sad. The participants will be made up of a team led by the master of special film effects Miroslav Lakobrija. Among other things, the team consists of participants of the SFX mask-making workshop, which was organised as part of the 20th Film Front. You can apply for masking, which is completely free, on the official website of filmfront.rs.
The masked crowd will then embark on a zombie walk through the District, straight to Fabrika as the final destination – where the Zombie Party will take place. You can apply for masking, which is completely free, at this link.
A zombie walk is an event open to all citizens. Children are allowed to participate, accompanied by their parents.
The ‘Film Front’ festival was born out of the need to affirm short original films and provide support to a new generation of filmmakers (professionals and amateurs) who, thanks to the then-new digital technology, started their own small and independent productions.
‘Film Front’ is organised as part of the Other? Europe programme arch. It also represents a platform around which authors from the region gather, exchange experiences, network and improve their opportunities for further development and film production.
