Showcase 1
‘Showcase 1’ is a music programme, which will be held on 1 September in the District, at the Proizvodnja (ex The Quarter) facility, within the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture programme arch. As part of the programme, we can expect Turbo Trans Turisti at 8 p.m., Band 21. vek at 9 p.m., and Moussaka at 10 p.m.
Turbo Trans Turisti
They were created in 2017 under the name Turisti. This was followed by the debut performance at the Americana Hall, the release of the first album ‘Levo ili Desno’ and a series of notable concerts throughout the country. Already in 2018, they announced a second album. And then, for reasons that need not be repeated, the stage lights went out. Musicians and even the Turisti quickly realised that a crisis situation should be used as an opportunity to create. They devoted themselves to the completion of the previously announced album, but they were also already creating new songs that would be on their following, third album. In 2021, they started releasing songs from the second album (‘Šimpanza’, ‘Ništa Nije Strašno’, ‘Sreća Je’, ‘Sivi Dani’, ‘Valhala’) and they released their full second album (‘Ništa Nije Strašno’) in 2022.
So, what is new here?
Their songs, that is, an album was released under their own label ‘Anderklas’, with Turisti wanting to highlight how far they have come and how sure of their work they are; they said – we are no longer just Turisti, now we are Turbo Trans Turisti.
And here is the opportunity for TTT to finally show in front of the public what and how they worked on, and what comes next. So, when the lights come on, the audience will get an answer to that. Under the lights, only they, the brothers Boško and Nikola, will be on stage.
Let’s dance together – the journey is starting, and we will all become Turbo Trans Tourists.
