‘Showcase 3’ is a music programme, which will be held on 3 September in the District, at the Proizvodnja (ex The Quarter) facility, as part of the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture programme arch. As part of the programme, we can expect performances from Jana Vuković at 9 p.m., Iva Lorens at 10 p.m., Ata at 11 p.m., Galatheia at 11.45 p.m. and Tam at 00.30 a.m..

ATA started as a solo music project created by Atanasija Gulevska in 2021 based in Skopje. Atanasija (23) is currently a student at the Institute of Art History in Skopje and works full-time as part of the project management team at Password Production.

So far ATA has released two singles on YouTube and is releasing a third at the end of September this year.

For the final goal of this project, ATA is now joined by Marko Pečenovikj on bass and Andreja Salpe on guitar and electronics.

Galatheia aka Tea Šaldeva is a versatile artist and DJ from Skopje, North Macedonia. From an early age, music was her only constant passion which led her to be a vocalist in several bands, a regular radio show host, and a producer of her own music. Her intimate relationship with electric beats started around 2010 and took off on the stage two years after that when she released her first EP, ‘All We Ever Wanted Was Everything’.

In the following years, she released several singles and her debut album ‘Metropol’ (2017). She collaborated with many local artists,

including PMG Kolektiv, Lepi Džoni, Aleksandar Veliki, and Pikolomini.

Iva Lorens

Iva Lorens is a singer-songwriter who appeared on the local scene at the end of 2021 and soon gained the attention of the audience and positive reviews with her two singles. Lorens is ‘the promise of a new, and proud Serbian mainstream’, said Dragan Ambrozić.

The young pop artist writes her songs together with the left-handed Pančevo boy band Buč Kesidi, producer Milan Bjelica and Petar Pupić, better known as Egret, who made music together with Iva.

Her music includes elements of electro-pop, and Iva’s soft vocals adorn and float through her music adding depth to the overall arrangements and heartfelt lyrics.

Iva’s first song ‘Svitanje’ soon became the audience’s favourite – the readers of Oblakoder magazine even declared it the song of 2021. At the beginning of the summer of 2022, she announced a collaboration with world-famous pop singer Jason Derulo, who was her mentor within the Tuborg Open campaign and helped create her next single ‘2 do 4’.

We can expect Iva Lorens’ debut album at the end of autumn, and until then, the songs on the album that are eagerly awaited in the digital edition will be performed live by Iva, together with her female band.

Since signing with Universal Music Serbia in February 2020, the singer-songwriter Tamara Popović – Tam, has continuously released hits, exploring her place in pop music, complemented by overtones of other popular genres. It all comes as a result of her upbringing in the performing arts, and her constant consumption of almost all genres. On her singles ‘Sve dalje’, ‘Na holdu’, ‘Brži od svega’, ‘Infierno’ and ‘Aj ćao’, she mostly worked with her close collaborators Zicer Inc. – Mihajlo Đorović and Nikola Stanojević, Fantom, Pocket Palma and others.

The same team is also behind her new EP ‘Refleksija’, from which the singles ‘Usne uz rebra (na na na)’ and ‘Ne pričaj o nama’ have stood out so far.

Apart from the solo singles, the collaborations ‘Žad’ with Zicer Inc. mixtape album, and ‘Dobar Deal’ and ‘Viva Mais’ with Mimi Mercedez also stood out.

Tam gives equal attention to the visual identity – so far she has made videos for almost every one of her singles on which she again collaborates with a proven team. She aspires for her collaborators whose sensibility and vision best suit the given release, to be in charge of the video.
