Red Shawl / A Shawl as a Cultural Signifier

The workshop ‘Red Shawl’, within the ‘A Shawl as a Cultural Signifier’ project of the Heroines programme arch will be held in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina on 25 May at 11 a.m.

The workshop deals with the topic of the red shawl as an ideological symbol that revives the memory of the pioneer scarf as an integral part of growing up in one period of our history.

Time, circumstances, enthusiasm, brotherhood and unity, equality will be some of the debate topics. In the creative part of the workshop, participants will create objects inspired by the values of a time that shows that it is possible to create a more humane world: red shawls, flags with different symbolic and practical values.
