Performing Arts Week / Kaleidoscope of Culture
Performing Arts Week offers outdoor concerts, performances, theatre plays and dance in contemporary forms in cultural stations, as new gathering places in Novi Sad, from 10 to 16 September.
The biggest event of this week is Korzo, a big concert of classical music under a clear sky, on the former Novi Sad promenade, and today’s Mihajla Pupina Boulevard, where traffic is stopped for one evening for the sake of culture. With world-class names, a special stage and a repertoire consisting of the most famous works of classical music, Korzo, reviving the former times, has become a new tradition of Novi Sad and one of the legacies that will live on even after the European Capital of Culture title year. It is a rarity that puts Serbian Athens into spotlight in the entire region and wider.
